line of treatment works on correcting the Vata Dosha and purifying the blood. Typically, Navkarshik Churna and Kishore Guggul are
considered effective medicines for Gout in Ayurveda. Earlier Ayurvedic
practitioners used to prepare medicines in their personal laboratories.
However, nowadays proprietary or generic Ayurvedic tablets can be purchased
from medical shops.

treat the problem of Gout. Herbs like Manjistha correct the stiffness of the
joints whereas DaruHaridra reduces the Uric Acid levels. All these medicines
are there in Navkarshik Churna. The medicine cleanses the blood and relieves
from pain with its analgesic property. Punarnava is also an effective medicine in the treatment of
Gout because it purifies the blood by removing toxins.
The combination of all these medicines brings an incredible
improvement in the patients. They get relief from unbearable pain and can
perform the daily chores without any trouble. Lifestyle and diet should be altered for the best effect of
Ayurveda Other than medicines, Ayurveda emphasizes on “Ahara” (the
diet) and “Vihara” (the lifestyle). One should not take excessive quantities of
